Request for Proposals to Host IRS2012

Location: To Be Determined

To Members of the Radiation Community:

The Officers of the International Radiation Commission invite and welcome proposals
from the radiation community to host the 2012 International Radiation Symposium.
Proposals are not limited to IRC members, but may be made by any scientist
recognized in the field of radiation research.

The location of the IRS has rotated among the Americas, Europe, and the
Middle East–Asia–Pacific regions, with the most recent held in Brazil,
and the one before that in South Korea.
Though we particularly look for proposals from the European and African sector,
bid proposals from any geographic area are encouraged.

Notice of intent to propose due 1 March 2010.
Venue proposals must be presented at the upcoming 2010 IRC Business
Meeting in Bremen, Germany, tentatively scheduled for 22 July.
Advance copies of proposals must be submitted to Robert Cahalan by 15 April 2010 in order
for the Officers to request any additional information, if needed, from proposers.
